You probably have your go-to everyday satchel, but why not add a few more fun styles to your closet this spring? Here are our "it" bags of the season. Trust us, you'll want all of these!
1

Graphic print

Kate Spade Checker Place Maise Bag $288Kate Spade Checker Place Maise Bag $288

Looking for the perfect statement bag this spring? Try a fierce '60s-inspired, graphic-print must-have, which stood out in Fendi and Louis Vuitton's SS13 collections.

  • Where it's appropriate: Everywhere! A vibrant bag works great to brighten up a dark suit for work or to add some playfulness to a cute tee and pair of skinnies for weekend brunch with the girls.
  • How to wear: Make the graphic bag the standout piece, so try to avoid other prints when it comes to fashion. Our tip: Stick to neutrals like black, gray or white!
2

Clear

Marc by Marc Jacobs Black Leather/PVC Crossbody Bag $225Marc by Marc Jacobs Black Leather/PVC Crossbody Bag $225

Not only are clear, lucite shoes a major spring trend, but clear bags are, too! Both Burberry and Anna Sui showcased cool see-through satchels in their runway shows, making them totally covetable this season.

  • Where it's appropriate: The clear detailing gives off more of a casual vibe, so save this style for the weekends or after work.
  • How to wear: If you're not so into a bag where the entire world can see your goods, opt for a style that has clear accents. That way, you'll still embody the trend, but won't be uncomfortable as you're walking around.
3

Black and white

Dorothy Perkins White and Black Pannelled Bag $69Dorothy Perkins White and Black Pannelled Bag $55

Oh, how Parisian! Who doesn't love a classic black-and-white moment? We can't get enough of this neutral combo when it comes to clothing, but on a bag? We're even more obssesed! So sophisticated, yet incredibly chic.

  • Where it's appropriate: Everywhere! A classic black-and-white stunner works everywhere — whether you're running between meetings during the work week or out for dinner with your man on a Friday night.
  • How to wear: Since the bag itself is neutral, opt for some color everywhere else. Try a colored blouse with pastel blue pants for an outfit that could work for work or play.
4

Saddle

Fossil Austin Flap Bag $198Fossil Austin Flap Bag $158

The perfect over-the-arm staple, a saddle bag is your solution for an adorable bag.

  • Where it's appropriate: Given the cross-body nature of the saddle bag, this style works better in a more casual setting. Something crossed over a work ensemble, like a suit, will appear bunchy and not put together.
  • How to wear: Throw this cute bag over a cool moto jacket and your favorite pair of jeans for the weekends!
5

Straw tote

J. Crew Farmers' Market Tote $49.50J. Crew Farmers' Market Tote$50

Headed to the beach this spring? Ditch your boring tote, and opt for a cute straw option instead!

  • Where it's appropriate: Straw screams casual! So save your tote for the weekends — especially if you're headed on a picnic or to the beach. Our tip: Get a large enough style to fit all of your day trip essentials — a towel, change of clothes, a water bottle, etc.
  • How to wear: Swing a straw tote over a classic tee and cut-offs with a swimsuit underneath for that casual, beachy-girl vibe.

Are you
a Megan or a Betty?

Banana Republic is bringing you Mad Men’s mod look with a new line by the show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant. Get her tips on how to sport the hot '60s style.

The grassy patch in the middle of The Grove in Los Angeles was transported to a far-out era recently when Banana Republic set up shop with their new Mad Men-inspired clothing line from the show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant.

Inside a '60s-style motor home, we tried on the new looks and got advice from Janie and The Face'sCoco Rocha on how to get this swinging style.

Watch beauty beat

Beauty Beat: Mad Men style

SheKnows correspondent Whitney English chats with Mad Men's costume designer Janie Bryant and supermodel Coco Rocha about their new line for Banana Republic.

Fashion inspiration

Janie says the pieces are inspired by the British invasion and rock-and-roll vibe of the late 1960s.

“It’s all about those geometric shapes, the bold colors, that real mod inspired period,” she told SheKnows. “Also, we have new silhouettes this season. It’s about buying those pieces that have the shorter lengths. It’s also about wearing the shift as opposed to the sheath, that is more body conscious. The shift is just a little more casual and has a little bit more of the ease and that mod vibe.”

For men, Janie says it’s all about the plaid: “I am addicted to plaid. so I find a plaid sports coat [is] always sexy.”

The line’s face, Coco Rocha, says she is a huge fan of the show and agrees that the Mad Men men’s fashion is very hot. Who doesn't want a little Don Draper in their life?

“Something about it is very sharp looking,” she told us. “I always look at my husband, and I’m like, ‘Why can’t we get you in something spiffy like that?’ And now we can!”

On herself, Coco likes the same red-and-blue print shirt dress we were eyeing. “I am all about all the little dresses,” said Rocha. “What I love about them is that I can wear them in the day, and then dress it up for the night. Put on some more makeup, play with my hair, change your shoes and you have a new wardrobe.”

Banana Republic's Mad Men collection

Although some women may shy away from going head to toe mod, Coco says she likes to glam up the look with full '60s hair and makeup… meaning teased, poufy updos and smoky cat eyes.

“If you are wearing the '60s look, some people say, dress it down so you don’t look like you’re a character,” said Coco.  “I say, dress it up. I want full hair, makeup, fake lashes. If you’re going to wear it, just make sure it’s loud and proud.”

To get your own Mad Men look, head over to Banana Republic for all of Janie’s fabulous frocks! And be sure to tune in to the season 6 premiere on April 6.

Throw the "Rules" out the window

There are a lot of style rules out there, especially ones that apply specifically to plus-size women. Who made them, and why do we follow them? It's time to throw the style rulebook out the window.

Plus size makeup myths

I find myself very lucky that while growing up, I didn't encounter too many style "rules" related to my size. It wasn’t until I worked retail at a popular plus store that I ran into plus-size women who told me all sorts of crazy "rules” they followed, such as "I can’t go sleeveless" or "I can’t wear skirts." The ones most surprising to me were the makeup and hairstyle rules.

In the midst of my research to find and disprove these myths, I found several pages that claimed to be "pro-plus-sized women," but only served to limit a woman’s style and further instill insecurities. One article started, "If you think fat and beautiful do not go well with each other, think again. To be beautiful, you need not be size zero... The truth is that plus-size women have all the right curves and a beautiful voluptuous body."

Not a bad start. However, this article went on to tell women that they shouldn’t wear a liquid foundation, bold eye makeup or neutral lip color as it will only draw attention to their flaws. Other "tips" were ones that all women should follow when wearing makeup, regardless of size. For example: Match your foundation and blend.

The real rules

I met with Jessica Frieling, photographer, makeup artist and stylist, to discuss these myths and get some makeup tips to help contour my face. She had never heard the "no liquid foundation" rule and grew up wearing liquid foundation, and she scoffed at the "no garish eye makeup" rule. In fact, she did a photoshoot with rainbow eye makeup.

1

Start with a good base

Liz Schluter Makeup Step 1

Jessica applied concealer and a liquid foundation on my skin after applying a primer on my clean and moisturized skin with a latex-free sponge. She went back with the concealer on a pencil-shaped brush to cover any blemishes, and finished with a powder to set the makeup .

  • Concealer tips: Use a shade lighter than your foundation. Apply with a brush or your fingers and blend toward the edges. Apply around your lips, just above the bow, to make your lips look fuller.
  • Foundation tips: Apply with a sponge . Apply in a stippling motion for even coverage.
How to pick a shade? Go into a store and try several different shades and brands. Ask a store associate for help or bring a friend. Even professionals ask for help.
2

Contour

Liz Schluter Makeup Step 2

Pick a bronzer with little to no shimmer. Try MAC Bronzing Powder in bronze.

Apply with a brush to the hollows of your cheeks . Apply from your hairline in the hollow about 2 inches, and stop about where your jaw hinges. It’s important to not take the powder too far. Blend the powder into your hairline, applying darker closer to your hairline. Also, apply the bronzer lightly to your temples and along your jawline, where you would naturally have shadows.

Experiment with color, shimmer and liners. Don’t forget mascara. Use a light shadow to highlight under your eyebrows and the inner corners of your eyes.

Tip: Fill in eyebrows. Sparse or light eyebrows can age you. When you were a child, you probably had dark and full eyebrows. NYX Push-Up Bra For Your Eyebrows is dual-sided and has a highlighter on the other side.
4

Finish the look

Liz Schluter Makeup Done

  • Clean up foundation with sponge.
  • Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks then sweep into your hairline. Try Bella Bamba by Benefit.
  • Finally, apply a bronzer/darker blush powder, as a bronzer this time. Consider Honour by MAC, and provide warmth to areas where the sun would normally hit you, like your forehead, nose, chin and cheekbones.
  • Finish lips with a natural color for day — Jessica used Rosewood by Prestige— and top with a gloss in a taupe/pink shade. Apply gloss to the middle of lips. If you want a bold lip, check out Lime Crime Velvetines in red velvet!

This is a lot to do on a daily basis, and it took a bit longer than my normal 10-minute face, even with a professional doing it. But it was so worth it for a special event. Use the tips and tricks from above that suit you, and implement them into your daily routine. Take the extra minute to add contour. This could be applied over your foundation, then add some mascara and lip gloss, and be out the door.

We're obsessed!

We have a total crush on Jessica Alba's chic 'do. Find out why in this week's installment of Celeb Hairstyle of the Week!

Who says you have to pick your best side? With the rising trend in sideswept hairstyles, it's fun to switch up your assets and toss your hair on whatever side is making you feel most confident that day. Ever the fashionista, stylish celeb mom Jessica Alba sported this sideswept curly look at last week's Kids' Choice Awards, and I'm swooning over it.

Celeb hairstylist Gio Campora created loose sideswept waves to give Jessica a '90s supermodel look. Want to steal the look for yourself? Check out his step-by-step tips below!

Get the look!

  1. Start off by smoothing Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse into wet hair. Next, spray Frizz-Ease Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray onto locks.
  2. Now it's time to blow dry! Dry hair using your favorite round brush — any will do.
  3. Once hair is completely dry, section off portions to make curling more manageable. Take your favorite medium curling iron and create loose curls.
  4. You're almost done! Finish the look off with Frizz-Ease 100% Glossing Spray. This will give hair a nice healthy shine!

Friday's Fashion Fails: Brandi Glanville and Olivia Palermo

$

Oops... even celebrities get it wrong sometimes! We're telling you why Brandi Glanville and Olivia Palermo's fashions fell short in our weekly feature. Learn from the stars' sartorial slip ups!

/tags/brandi-glanville

Brandi Glanville

Did Brandi Glanville think she was going to an S&M club or the launch of McDonald's new McWrap in this head-to-toe leather look? Although she's not usually the most demure real housewife of Beverly Hills, this outfit is pushing the envelope, even for her.

The leather leggings are totally fine but we're not wild about the peplum top. Since it has a slit in the front, we think throwing a black tank under it would have been more appropriate since this is sort of a family-friendly event and not a night out in Vegas.

The leather gloves are serious overkill as well, although the single mom had a good excuse. She tweeted a picture of her seriously burned hand and said she was trying to cover up the injury with the gloves.

The final verdict? This is just too much leather! If Brandi had to wear the gloves to hide her hand, we would have kept the leggings and chosen a different top, like a solid silk flowy one or a bright blazer to offset the dominatrix vibe she's giving us.

/tags/olivia-palermo

Olivia Palermo

We never thought we'd see the day when Olivia Palermo would wind up on our worst dressed list! The City starlet is one of our favorite fashionistas and usually looks effortlessly chic at all times, but this leather dress is a disaster.

We love a good leather dress, but this one by Whistles is way too big and simply not flattering on Olivia's petite frame. We didn't know it was even possible to make leather look frumpy, but this frock singlehandedly accomplished it. The sleeves and skirt are so baggy!

As a red carpet veteran, Olivia should really know that tailoring is key. If she liked this dress, she should have had it taken in so she's not swimming in it, or gotten a smaller size.

The final verdict? Leather doesn't always have to be skin tight, but it should be fitted at the very least. Her hair also looks messy here. We guess no one's perfect, not even Miss Palermo.

Friday's Fashion Obsessions: Diane Kruger and Ashley Tisdale

Diane Kruger and Ashley Tisdale's beautiful celebrity styles made us do a double take this week! We're telling you why in this week's installment of Friday’s Fashion Obsessions.

Diane Kruger and Ashley Tisdale

Diane Kruger

Have you seen The Host yet? I have, and it's all kinds of awesome. But before I digress, we're here to talk about fashion, and one of the film's stars, Diane Kruger, blew me away with the high fashion look she wore to the 2013 FX Upfront Presentation in NYC last week.

Black and white is one of this spring's hottest trends, but it's always a classic combo no matter the season, and Diane knows that. The fashionista, who has admitted to never using a stylist, paired her Jason Wu white polka dot halter neck top with textured black peplum pants by the same designer. To top off the look, she threw a red Chanel Lego clutch over her shoulder and stepped into some black pumps.

The final verdict? Black and white isn't some new exciting combo, but it's the way that Diane added pattern, texture and extras to this classic look that brought it into the modern age of fashion awesomeness. I'm digging her simple, fresh hair and makeup, too!

Ashley Tisdale

Hello bombshell! Ashley Tisdale is sporting a new mature look and I like it. The actress showed up to her Extra appearance this week in a midi length strappy dress and some super complex black heels.

Ashley usually sports a boho chic, youthful look, so this more sophisticated side is a welcome change! I love the pretty floral pattern, and the silhouette hugs her figure in an oh-so-classy way. Her sideswept waves and light makeup are right on trend for the season and only add to the glamorous look.

The final verdict? I'd love to see more of this side of Ashley! Her style continues to evolve and it'll be exciting to see if she keeps up this grown-up look.

Bring damaged hair back from the dead

Tired of your dull, lifeless, damaged hair? Heat and excessive brushing are just two possible culprits. Bring your locks back to life with these seven easy steps.
Woman with split ends

Tired of your dull, lifeless, damaged hair? Bring your locks back to life with these seven easy steps.

Treat your tresses

Break up with heat

Using heat on your hair, especially frequently, causes damage and breakage — and can even melt your strands. It might seem impossible, but letting your hair air-dry or omitting the flat iron even a few times a week can work wonders.

If you must use a blow dryer, let your locks air-dry as much as possible, and then dry them on a low-heat setting. Instead of straightening your strands, try a loose braid, fishtail or bun; in lieu of a curling iron, test out no-heat curling techniques. The more heat-free you can go, the better off your locks will be.

How to protect your hair from the heat>>

Say bye-bye to your brush

Sorry, Marsha — brushing your hair 100 times a night is a habit to break.

Brushes create tension and can more easily snag strands of your hair, leading to breakage. Whenever possible, default to a wide-tooth comb instead of brushing. If you can't end your love affair just yet, make sure you're only brushing your hair when it's at least 90 percent dry and using a round brush for blow-outs. Brushing wet or damp hair right after washing more easily leads to damage. If you have naturally curly hair, leave a wide-tooth comb in the shower to use while you're conditioning, then lightly towel-dry your hair afterward.

Loosen up

Frequent tight ponytails put tension on the strands in the back and on top of your head, which can lead to breakage and cause flyaways. If you can't stand wearing your hair down, mix up the height of your pony, and only wrap your elastic a couple times.

Don't be a cheapskate

Drugstore haircare brands aren't the best for your locks. Drugstore brands tend to be filled with silicones, alkalines, acids and harsh chemicals that strip your hair of nutrient and color, while salon brands are specially formulated to protect your hair, are pH-balanced and offer the correct amount of proteins and other nutrients your strands need to thrive.

If your checking account's a little light, ask your stylist for samples of product to test out which brand is best for you before spending the money.

Revisit your Chemistry 101 days

Protein makes up most of your muscles, organs and immune system, meaning your body needs it to survive — and so does your hair. Hair is made up of protein, so when your strands are damaged, it means they're short in protein supply. That’s usually due to excessive heat, styling and tension.

On the flip side, you can also have too many proteins in your hair, which can cause it to break off more easily. Yes, your hair can actually be too healthy. If you're using repairing products, only use it until your strands feel good, and then stop or reduce use.

Note: Blondes are more prone to losing proteins , especially when you frequently highlight or color. Ask your stylist for the best pH-balanced product for your strands.

Seek the scissors

We can’t stress this enough: Regular haircuts are so important. Most people should trim their hair every four to six weeks; even eight weeks can be pushing it. Ask your stylist what's best for your type of hair, then stick to your trim regime. If you're growing out your hair, it's especially important to trim every six weeks to promote growth: The more frequently you get a trim, the less your stylist has to cut off each visit.

Get dirty

The hair-styling gods recommend you wash your hair only twice a week . The finer your hair, the less likely you'll be able to go this long between washes, but it's something you should strive for. Try to only wash it every other day, make sure you’re using good hair products and try out some fun second-day hairstyles.

Former The City star, socialite and style maven Olivia Palermo is a paparazzi favorite — continually snapped for her street-style chic and on-trend ensembles. Want to steal her look? Join us as we shop out this gorgeous, all-black number.

Why we love it

There's nothing more chic than an all-black ensemble. Olivia looks like a true lady with this dramatic LBD, jacket and classic pumps. This is one look that will never go out of style!

How to style

The best part about this look? It totally performs double duty. If you want to make your favorite LBD work-appropriate, add layers to it like Olivia did here. Meaning: Throw on a little jacket for the office, and add a sleek belt. Heading for drinks with the girls after a long day? Simply remove the jacket and belt, and you're ready for a night out!

What to remember

Showing a little skin is a must. If you're going for the all-black look, try showing a little skin to break up the monochromatic color. You can either wear a skirt to show some leg like Olivia did, or wear something sleeveless to show your arms. If you are in complete black from head to toe, you'll start looking like a scary witch!

Facial exercises that fight aging

Are you one of the many women looking for a natural way to fight the aging process?
Woman touching her face

Fitness for your face

Are you one of the many women looking for a natural way to fight the aging process?

It's easy to find workout programs to help you get thinner thighs, slim arms and a toned tummy, but has anyone ever taught you how to exercise your facial features?

Renowned facial exercise expert and organic skincare guru Lavinia Borcau recently released her new facial exercise DVD program, From My Neck Up. The program features exercises that can help fight the aging process; she has even claimed it to be the new alternative to a facelift. No needle? No surgery? Why not give it a try?

Raise your brows

Eyebrows are one of the most important features on your face because they keep you looking awake and alert. Keep those brows up high by doing the following exercise.

  • Step 1: Press the tips of your fingers from both hands below the eyebrows.
  • Step 2: Try to move your eyebrows down and close your eyes tightly. Hold for 7 counts. Slowly release and take a deep breath. Repeat movement 5 to 7 times.

Stay cheeky

To help firm lower cheeks and eliminate pouches, you need to train the corners of your mouth to turn up. The following simple steps will help keep the cheeks lifted and create a naturally youthful look.

  • Step 1: Tighten and lift corners of your mouth while pressing cheek muscles to the sides of your mouth.
  • Step 2: Place middle fingers from each hand in the creases on either side of the mouth. Press firmly and repeat slowly. Repeat this motion 21 times.

Lift your double chin

The following exercise will help eliminate any possibilities of dealing with the not-so-cute double chin. Try this quick exercise once a day and you'll have the best chin and neck in town!

  • Step 1: Keeping your neck taught, press the lower lip over the upper lip and smile, lifting the corners of your mouth.
  • Step 2: Using your palms or the knuckles of your fist, rub the underlying muscle vigorously 7 to 21 times. Slowly release and take a deep breath.

The DVD is available on Lavinia's website for $50 and includes a sample kit of the La Vie Organique luxury organic product line.

Fashion face-off: Taylor Swift vs. Jana Kramer at ACM Awards

OK, this is kind of awkward: Taylor Swift and Jana Kramer wore very similar gowns to the 2013 ACM Awards. The big question: Who wore it better?

Taylor Swift at the 2013 ACM Awards

Jana Kramer at the 2013 ACM Awards

Someone's stylist is in big trouble today.

Well, we're just assuming someone is in trouble, thanks to the very similar dresses Taylor Swift and actress/singer Jana Kramer wore to the 2012 ACM Awards.

Just look at them: Kramer's Cleopatra-inspired Badgley Mischka creation is way similar to the Dolce & Gabbana gown Swift wore on the red carpet.

Fashion misses at the 2013 ACM Awards >>

We wonder whether either performer had an Anne Hathaway-esque meltdown when she saw the other's dress. Let's hope not — especially since we love both performers. Then again, Swift's fans might not be so forgiving of Brantley Gilbert's fiancée. Serial dater Swift has been the focus of much scrutiny over the 2013 awards season, and fans are getting tired of it.

Need proof? That's why 2013 ACM Awards hosts Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton didn't make jokes about her during Sunday night's telecast.

Best dressed at the 2013 ACM awards >>

"I would tell him [Luke] to be prepared for the onslaught of hatred that will come from Taylor Swift's fan base if you say any sort of a joke or if she's any part of a punch line in the monologue," Shelton joked to the Associated Press before the show.

Regardless, both looked amazing at the ACMs!

DIY nail strengthener

Who doesn't want strong and healthy nails? Instead of heading to the salon, create your own natural, nail strengthening solution with just a few ingredients. No appointment necessary!

DIY Nail Strengthener

There are several things you can do to help keep your nails strong: regularly use a good moisturizer on your hands, wear gloves when you wash dishes and refrain from biting your nails. Along with those helpful tips, try a DIY nail strengthener, too. It's an easy, natural and luxurious way to keep fingernails tough as nails.

Castor oil is a vegetable-based oil that has been used for many home remedies over time, and it is also used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. We love it as a DIY nail strengthener because of its deep-conditioning properties. When used on your nails, it can help keep them moisturized and prevent them from cracking and breaking — and keep them strong. Adding a bit of vitamin E to this DIY mixture helps keep your nails and cuticles further moisturized and protected, too. Essential oils like lavender and eucalyptus not only smell great, but they have antiseptic properties, too.

Note: If you are pregnant, you should not use essential oils. For facts and safety information on essential oils and aromatherapy, check out the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.

DIY Nail Strengthener

Supplies:

  • 1 teaspoon castor oil
  • 2 vitamin E gel capsules, broken open
  • Several clean cotton balls
  • Small glass container or bowl
  • Optional: 3-5 drops eucalyptus or lavender essential oil

DIY Nail Strengthener supplies

Directions:

  1. Place the castor oil in a small glass container.
  2. Over the glass container, pierce the vitamin E capsules with the tip of a sharp knife. Allow the liquid to drip into the container. Discard the capsules.
  3. If you're using essential oil, add 3-5 drops to the mixture and mix with a spoon.
  4. Use a clean cotton ball to rub the mixture over your nails, twice a day. Allow the mixture to remain on your nails for about 5 minutes, then gently rub off with a clean cotton ball or tissue.

Nail it with this DIY nail strengthener!

Fake it till you conceal it

Concealers are like chameleons: They adapt to your surroundings and skin shade, and spotting good ones can be tricky. Benefit Cosmetics' latest FakeUp Hydrating Crease-Control Concealer is the most innovative one we've found in a long time... a true miracle worker.

Finding a good concealer can truly be tricky:  We've tried so many in the past, with lukewarm success. And when Benefit Cosmetics' latest FakeUp landed on our desk, we were super curious because of its hydrating component.

FakeUp is not your typical concealer. First of all, it's pretty . Second of all, the concealer color is surrounded by a translucent stick. When I first opened the pretty cap, I was intrigued by the way it looked.

It promises crease control, the ability to hide dark circles and diffusing of fine lines for silky smooth coverage. The hydrating ring, which is one of the coolest skin innovations I have seen, contains vitamin E and apple seed extract. It provides immediate moisturization to the delicate under eye area — which, as we all know, immediately displays signs of stress and fatigue when it lacks hydration. There's also the concealing core , which hides dark circles and helps keep skin smooth. It also diffuses light.

FakeUp comes in three ideal shades: Light, Medium and Deep and promises to keep your skin hydrated for six hours, which is a long stretch of time.

How it measured up

FakeUp was so easy to use underneath the eyes: The coverage was quick and immediate, and the results were instantly visible. In a consumer study, 100 percent of panelists said that the concealer hydrated their skin, and it certainly did mine. It had an extremely silky feeling and went smoothly under the eye area without feeling waxy or sticky. If you've been using liquid concealer in the past and wanted a no-mess, no-fuss option, this is definitely the way to go.

It's considered a lightweight formula, and it hid my dark circles well enough. But if you want more coverage, nothing is stopping you from using this as a primer concealer followed by a concealer you know and love that offers full coverage.

The coverage lasted a long time — at least three hours, at which point I was impressed enough. And I really like the fact that unlike most other concealer sticks, you really didn't have to blend the concealer in with your fingers... the stick did it for you.

All in all, this is a brilliant concealer and one that every beauty junkie should buy. I find it hard to compare it to other brands because it is so unique. Benefit has given us other concealers, like Boi-ing and the brilliant Erase Paste, which is one of a kind. Erase Paste removes all imperfections; for me, it's the concealer you need to have if you've had the worst kind of hangover. But FakeUp is not full coverage like Erase Paste. It's a light coverage, and it's one of the best for what it promises. Also, the other Benefit concealers don't really have a hydrating component. For $29, FakeUp is completely worth it.

Now that's makeup you can benefit from.
