'90s Comeback style we've missed

Remember those nights you would race to your TV to watch the latest episode of 90210? Or when you were so excited that Clueless finally came out on VHS so you could watch it over and over again? We sure do. And we also remember the stellar style from that decade as well. Check out which '90s fashion staples are making a comeback!

Jellie sandals

Jelly sandals

These festively fabulous sweet treats for our feet took us through wet grass trails in the park as youngins' and never wore or tore too soon. But they were also the shoe of the moment. They were the essential mist of summer with their liquid neon colors sprinkled with shards of glitter. And the best part? They're back! It was only a matter of time until they worked their essentially casual magic back into the fashion world.

Now, jellies are back with their intricate styles that will bring the right amount of nostalgia back to your perfectly polished piggies. These Marc by Marc Jacobs jelly sandals, seen here, will steal the show at a summer pool party or midday brunch with the girls. Or if you're planning a night out with your better half or group of girls, these jelly Patchouli Peep Toe wedges will sexify your gams right up. Who would've ever thought jellies could be sexy?

Crop tops

Crop tops

We all know Miley Cyrus is an avid fan of the crop top but did you also know that these hottie tops are way before her time? Think Donna Martin in 90210. Or Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO series Sex and the City. Well, they're back in all their sexiness, but this time they're claiming an edgier, hipster vibe.

Try showing off your tummy in this American Super Crop Top tank by OBEY, seen above. Or exercise your right to show some skin in this floral smocked crop top from Free People.

Bodycon dress

Bodycon dress

Does Kelly Bundy ring a bell here? We'll never forget Christina Applegate in her red, bodycon dress in Married with Children. Al Bundy was never too happy about it, but we completely agreed with it! They were fun, young and, most importantly, super sexy. In the absence of the bodycon dress, we've gained many more flattering dress styles, but the bodycon just happens to be an old fave.

This Rendezvous Tank Dress from Nasty Gal is all you need to reminisce about the Kelly Bundy days. Plus, the bodycon styles are a bit classier now, so no need to feel... too exposed. If you want to brighten up the day, add some color with this Neon color-block dress seen above from Lulus. Me-ow.

Platforms

Platforms

Scary Spice and Baby Spice introduced these bad boys to us early on. So did Ginger Spice, Posh Spice and sometimes Sporty Spice if she wasn't about to go on a run. These became ultra-popular in the form of Rocket Dog flip-flop platforms. Remember those? They were so chic at the time.

Now, high-end designers such as Celine and more affordable designers like Steve Madden have brought the height back, and added five inches. These Jean-Michel Cazabet platforms seen above will eat the millennium off your face with their impeccable '90s appeal. We're in love. If the rivers in your wallet don't run that deep, then these Steve Madden Grettta platforms will also bring you back to Beverly Hills High.

Kneesocks

Knee socks

Alicia Silverstone executed this look wonderfully in Clueless as the vapid-turned-not-so-vapid Cher Horowitz. Basically, she was our style icon slash heroine of the '90s, which is why we're giddy with excitement that the demand for knee socks is starting to run high. We're not exactly talking Taylor Momsen thigh highs ... but more like Blake Lively a la Gossip Girl knee highs.

So get your plaid skirt out and your oxfords on! Try these uber-chic over-the-knee black socks from ShopBop or get super serious about life in these super sheer over-the-knee socks seen above from American Apparel.

Denim

Denim

If you haven't owned a denim jacket since 1999, then that's fine. But you'd better head over to your local Levi's store before October. Denim jackets have been a style staple for years, but only recently have they become a must-have style staple, once again. We don't need Kate Moss to tell us denim is sexy anymore. Maybe Mark Wahlberg again, though. We wouldn't mind that.

Get on the denim train already in this fitted cropped denim jacket by Joe's Jeans. You can always take it up a notch in this River Island Mint denim jacket from ASOS.
