Okay, it's true: We get a little — or a lot — excited about designer collaborations with budget retailers. After all, it's probably the easiest — and least expensive — way we can get our mitts on gear from designers like Prabal Gurung and Missoni.
This one takes the cake, though: Designer Derek Lam has partnered with Kohl's for a Brazil-inspired collection that'll hit stores on April 5. Lam traveled to the South American nation to get inspiration for the line, which includes plenty of beach-worthy dresses and bold prints.

The pieces will range from $36 to $88 and will be on sale until mid-May. Our favorites? We're loving the Fittest Boatneck Dress worn by Emmy Rossum and the Tab-Collared Tunic worn recently by Blake Lively .
