Off to see the wizard
in style
It's time to make the Yellow Brick Road your runway! We are supremely inspired by the upcoming release of Oz the Great and Powerful and all of its whimsical wonder. Even though Oz doesn't have its own fashion week, here are some whimsical accessories we love that capture the glamorous magic of Emerald City.
Opalescent Dream head wrap
Dorothy would have looked so cute in this. Head wraps are so hot this spring and a 2013 must-have. This "Opalescent Dream" wrap is certainly one of the most whimsical head wraps we came across. What we love most about this wrap is the brooch that gathers the mottled band. It's bold and classy at the same time!
Rose Cabby rings
Rings like these belong in your accessory collection. Beautifully handmade, these adjustable Rose Cabby rings dress your hand with delicate yet loud appeal. You can choose from one of the following colors: lavender, coral, fuchsia and ivory. Be sure to check out other accessories by Aisha in her Etsy shop. Her designs are unique, intricately made and ready for Oz!
I Feel Like Dancing heel
Oz's mystical creatures know how to party in style and these heels are just what you need to dance the night away while holding on to vintage memories. These adorable faux-leather lace-ups inspire a frolicking spirit with their rhumba-ready medium height heel. The creamy front panel offers a conservative touch and the polka dots provide the fun. Click these heels together and say, "There's no place like Oz."
Floppy hat
When we saw this Nine West hat, we instantly thought of the hat Mila Kunis wears as Theodora the Good Witch in Oz the Great and Powerful. This wide brimmed floppy hat has a New York sophistication, as well as the breeziness of L.A. and the whimsy of Oz.
Whimsical sunglasses
Look chic in the sun as you strut your stuff down the Yellow Brick Road! With swirly arms, these sunglasses certainly stand out and are sure to add some flair to your everyday fashion.
