Kerry Washington turned heads on the 2013 Academy Awards red carpet in her bright-and-embellished Miu Miu gown. However, the Django Unchained star claims she doesn't know much about fashion.
"I think I’m really lucky. I’ve been able to learn about fashion from people in the industry, and they have all been really supportive," she told Philadelphia Style magazine last year.
"I work with a few different stylists for my look. I’m not a very fashionable dresser in everyday life. I view being on the red carpet and photo shoots as playing a character."
Well, you're playing that character really well, Kerry!
The actress paired her Miu Miu creation with Christian Louboutin heels, a Prada bag, a Fred Leighton ring and Chopard earrings.
And yes, you can bet she's totally loving her time on the Oscars red carpet.
"The red carpet thing is part of the job, like it’s the actor’s responsibility as part of post-production," she told Philadelphia Style. "I had no idea I would love it so much."
