Ow, ow! We knew RiRi would really bring it at this year’s Grammys. We just didn’t know how, or who or what, the songstress would be wearing.
To our surprise she chose, not a skin-baring number, but an elegant, custom red floor-length Azzedine Alaia gown with a stunning train and chic sheer details.
Rihanna admits that it was in fact her first choice. “I walked in, and it was pretty much on the mirror. He [Azzedine Alaia] sent me a few dresses that he had worked on, and this one was just stunning. I love the color, and I like the a-line.”
We have to agree with RiRi -- it fits her like a glove. Paired with that perfect red pout and those long, luscious wavy locks, she looks impeccably put together. The whole soft, glamorous thing really works for this usually-edgy starlet.
Finally, to top off her ensemble, she accessorized with sparkling Neil Lane jewels and Manolo Blahnik heels. We don’t know about you, but she’s certainly on top of our best-dressed list for the second year in a row. What are your thoughts/feelings?
