You don't have to start all over to get glamorous evening skin, especially if you take good care of your skin throughout the rest of the day.
Day-to-night
summer skin tips
In the morning…
Oatmeal Exfoliating Scrub
Ingredients:
- 4 teaspoons oatmeal
- 4 tablespoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Instructions:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Add water to make a paste.
- Apply the paste to your skin and gently rub it in for a few minutes.
- Rinse your skin and pat it dry.
Lay the groundwork for great skin that lasts all day.
Shower: Facing the day with fresh skin is your best start. Use a deodorant soap that will get you through the heat of the summer day.
Exfoliate: Your skin worked hard overnight to make new cells. Reward its efforts by sloughing off the old, dead skin cells to let the new ones shine through. Use a drugstore exfoliator or — even better — make one at home!
Moisturize: When we're in a hurry, there's the temptation to skip this luxurious step. Change your paradigm so that you view moisturizing as a necessity, not a luxury. Whether you slather yourself with organic olive oil or use a store-bought moisturizer , your skin will thank you all day.

During the day…
Stay hydrated. Drinking eight to 10 tall glasses of water a day will wash your skin from within and keep you fresh and glowing.
Cool and refresh your skin. A skin-cooling spray is a great way to refresh your body on a hot day. A spritz of Philip B Blue Spray Skin-Cooling Mist will cool you down with a luscious blend of menthol and pure essential oils of rosemary, lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, marjoram, pine and tea tree oil.

When evening comes...
Feel free to move on to your evening activities without starting from scratch.
Get shimmery. Dust on some shimmery body powder before you reach your evening destination. Sparkling Lickable Body Powder by Urban Decay is not your daughter's body shimmer. Apply it to cheeks, collarbones, shoulders and your decollate area for glowing, sweet-smelling skin. "Lickable" true-to-their-name flavors include marshmallow and honey.
