Katie Holmes is starring in a Broadway play called Dead Accounts, but it was her style that seemed to have flatlined when she stepped out for the opening night premiere in NYC. Suri's freshly single mom chose a printed Bottega Veneta dress from their spring 2013 collection for her big night.
This blah dress just simply isn't right for leading lady Katie. Did anyone tell her that she's the star of the whole show? She really isn't dressing the part in this frumpy getup, with the high neckline and super long hem that'd be better suited for a Scientology fundraiser. We'd love to see Katie, who's also a designer herself, wear something bright, colorful and fit for the starlet that she is.
The final verdict? Props to Katie who's doing a great job juggling being a single mom and having her own career, but it's time to step it up in the style department. We suggest letting your stylish daughter Suri pick your next outfit. She always dresses to impress!

Poor Ke$ha overdosed on prints when she got dressed for KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in LA. The Die Young singer wore a black velvet and gold 7 For All Mankind suit, which she paired with a floral printed blouse. More is not always more!
The suit itself isn't awful and we feel the same way about the blouse, but together, they totally clash! If Ke$ha had worn the tapestry-esque suit with a simple black top underneath or just worn the blouse with skinny jeans, this look wouldn't be so bad. But throwing all of these together just hurts our eyes.
The final verdict? Print on print isn't the easiest trend to pull off, but your clothes should always complement each other, not compete for attention. But hey, at least she toned down the crazy makeup this time.
