Fergie
Poor Fergie. The singer couldn't decide between two dresses for the Footwear News Achievement awards in NYC, so she decided to wear both. Right? What else could explain this hodgepodge tacky teal getup?
On the right side, it looks like the Black Eyed Pea is wearing a lacy scalloped tablecloth, perfect for your grandma's bridge club get-together. On the left, she has a basic cotton look going on. The ruching at the middle of this Emilio Pucci minidress and the diagonal cut of the contrasting fabrics isn't flattering Ferg's figure.
Then, she got super matchy matchy and wore a pair of similarly hued blue peeptoe hues from her very own line, Fergie Footwear. We love colored heels but they should add some contrast to your ensemble, not be the same exact shade.
The final verdict? It's not always bad to mix different fabrics, but we're really not feeling the way it was done on this dress.
Ellen Pompeo
We really hope Ellen Pompeo is calling in a fashion emergency to Seattle Grace hospital, where she works on Grey's Anatomy. Just because you play a doctor who wears scrubs doesn't mean you have to dress scrubby!
Here's Ellen out and about in Beverly Hills looking frumptastic. From her baggy, striped shirt that says "blah" to her seriously oversized, cuffed jeans that look like they're straight out of the '80s, we don't know what she was thinking.
The look, combined with loafers , is more appropriate for hanging around at home, not strolling the streets of Beverly Hills. Maybe it was laundry day? That could explain why she appears to be wearing her guy's jeans.
The final verdict? Just because you're not on a red carpet doesn't mean you won't get photographed. Next time, try skinny jeans, a blazer and cute flats for a put-together daytime look.
