I’ll admit it — my makeup bag is a part of me. I feel like it is one of my limbs. I know where it is at all times and feel the need to take it everywhere I go... even if I never open it.
That being said, your makeup bag doesn’t need to be overwhelming and stuffed with things you don’t really need. You just need to know the essentials.
I have been a guinea pig for tons of products and researched the best in natural, non-toxic makeup because using natural, chemical-free products is essential for your skin, body and health. So, here are my absolute favorite must-have items that are in my beauty bag with me wherever I go.
Tarte Clay Concealer
There’s no need to pile on your makeup with both concealer and foundation. I love Tarte Clay Concealer because it acts as both and is so easy to apply. It is perfect when you’re on the go, and it's natural because no girl needs parabens or other nasty chemicals.
Couleur Caramel Mascara
If I could have one thing on a desert island, it would be my mascara. If you don’t wear a lot of makeup, just put on mascara in the morning and it will instantly give you a little boost.
100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush
This all-natural blush comes in a variety of colors. Don’t be afraid of a pink blush — it can give you that soft, flirty look in two seconds.
Crush Duwop Metallic Eyeshadow
People have stopped me on the street to ask me what my eyeshadow is. Now I am revealing my secret weapon — the Duwop Metallic Eyeshadow. I am such a fan of this eyeshadow. You just apply a little bit of the gold or rose metallic shadow and it instantly gives you a bright-eyed look. You don’t have to mess around with blending different colors or shadows. Who has time for that anyway?
Ferro GLOW Mineral Bronzer
By sweeping bronzer over your face, you instantly look healthier, sun kissed, and it can even make your face look thinner. Ever since I started using the Ferro GLOW Mineral bronzer, I have never stopped. The best part is, they’re 100 percent natural! For a natural look, pick one the same shade as your skin. And if you want to appear sun kissed, go a shade darker.
GLEAM Lip Radiance by Melanie Mills
To finish off your face, all you need is a great gloss. I used to walk around with 40 glosses until I found GLEAM Lip Radiance. It conditions the lips and provides staying power on the pout. No matter what your coloring is, your gloss should be natural and light. Try a light pink or a nude for a great everyday look.

Every single year, my New Year's resolution is to wash my face every night before bed. Sounds so easy, but how many of us have gone to sleep without washing our faces ?
