4 Easy fall beauty trends anyone can master

Have you ever tried following a new beauty trend that seemed almost impossible to achieve?

You wouldn't be alone! I see quite a few every season that I'm dying to try, but I'm either a little hesitant about taking the plunge with a new style or I'm not able to get the look I'm striving for. What I have come to realize, though, is that with the right tools and products and a few attempts, these cute and fun new trends for the season are actually possible.

Check out these four super-easy beauty trends to welcome the fall season:

1. Rose and peach cheeks:

This fall and winter, the look is definitely softer. Think warm, light and rosy tones and stick to highlighting the apples of your cheeks. What I LOVE about this look is that it's very easy to achieve with minimal effort. One of my fave cheek colors right now: Julep's Skip the Brush crème-to-powder blush stick in "golden guava" (Julep, $24). This product eliminates all of the complication and easily blends for the perfect rosy cheeks.

2. Metallic eye liner:

You may have seen this before — metallic shades make some sort of appearance every season. This season is a bit different, in that it's appearing in eyeliners in all shades of gold, bronze or silver. My top pick is Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in "cuff" (Sephora, $20), a metallic silver shimmer with silver micro-sparkles.

3. Lavender lips:

You're probably wondering how this typically spring color landed on a fall trends list. I was happy to see that instead of the normal deep reds and wine-colored lip colors, some really fun shades were seen on the runways this year. Surprisingly, it's fairly easy to pull this look off with a light lavender shade — glosses work very well with lavender, too. One that I love is Buxom's Full-On Lip Polish in "Erin" (Sephora, $19) — the "blushing lavender" color goes on super glossy with just the perfect pop of color.

4. Leather headbands:

This fall brings back some great trends in hairstyles and accessories, with leather headbands in both glossy and matte finishes popping up all over the runways and fashion scene. I especially like that this look is inexpensive, easy to achieve and excellent for styling hair when it may not be at its best. Other materials have also been incorporated to hold back your hair, like metal, texturing and even chopsticks — bringing a whole new fresh approach to this beauty trend. Cara makes a super-cute faux-leather bow wrap in "camel" that you can score at Nordstrom for only $22.
