Basically, you take deep hues of blue, purple and red, and apply them so they extend outward from the root.
Jamie Muniz, a Pravana stylist, told BuzzFeed that "[t]he head is a globe, and color should expand out from this, like it would around a sun. I also pulled inspiration from the concept of rings around planets."

Getting the look can take hours of sitting in a salon chair, but it's worth it to get such a head-turning look. Plus, you want to make sure your stylist knows what he or she is doing, so you get the celestial color you're craving.

"If you want it to look good, do your research on stylists and go to someone who can do it right," Muniz told BuzzFeed.
