But now, I finally have a reason to love Vera Bradley. Today, Sept. 16, the handbag designer is rolling out a line of leather and faux leather carryalls after 30 years of paisley prints and wacky color combos. And they look stunning.

From the classic leather look, to the lovely quilting, to the array of brights in the line, I'm currently contemplating a Vera online shopping binge and pulling out my credit card, but will probably have to sleep on it for fear of maxing out my plastic!
What's more, these bags are definitely affordable at $24 to $138 for faux leather and $98 to $298 for the real leather work. So if you're caught between two styles — perhaps basic black with tiny outlines of blue and the quilted with bold pops of orange color — you might be able to swing both.
From what I've seen, I'd take 'em all. While Vera's other work skews youthful and fun, these are very grown-up handbags for a modern woman.
