One of my favorite Fashion Week spectacles is the loitering that happens outside of Lincoln Center. Some are there to attend the shows, some are there in passing or on a quick break. Some stop by to see which celebrities they can spot coming and going.
Others, they are there to show off their own personal style. While some girls not-so-subtly wait for someone to photograph them, others are just caught on their way in or out of the fashion mayhem.
Call it self-righteous or call them show-offs or wannabes but they create an entirely new form of the runway and I thoroughly enjoy the people-watching allure of Fashion Week.
These coats are all made by a cruelty-free brand that takes pride in their approach to faux fur.
No, that's not an iWatch. It's a 1Face charity watch that donates to a charity of your choice.

This fun outfit can be credited to a fashion brand by the name of Lie Sang Bong.
The look on the left just made sneakers, head scarves and dresses a perfect fit.
Proof that midi skirts can totally be sexy.
Oh how we love the bucket bag. You can track more of this gal's very-wearable outfits on her blog. Here she rocks Zara pants and an ASOS tank.
Sometimes fashion is just a simple outfit with a lot of attitude.
Thank goodness less-tailored dress pants are in the spotlight right now. These are from Intermix.
This outfit is all about unique accessories. The dress was made by Sofista Funk. The name itself makes you want to click on it.
This very contemporary take on a woman's tux was designed by the model herself, who isn't actually a model but rather the brains and creative director behind the label she's wearing, Christina Karin.
Here's one of those celebrities we were talking about — Coco Rocha heading in.
A nice throwback to the '70s vibe, so disco.
See, I told you that you can wear denim to Fashion Week. Anyone fellow fans of Elvis Duran in the morning? That's co-host Bethany Watson.
That's not a holograph on her purse — it's an iPad. She designs accessories for her own line, Sydney Rodgers, and this might be the coolest way to tote around your iPad yet.
Now that's a fashion student if we've ever seen one.
This has futuristic Carrie Bradshaw written all over it.
