Blend in, stand out and pack light this summer

They are the travel space savers. Q-tips cotton swabs are amazing when used dry for blending. They double as the best blending-brush tools. In the summer mixing bronzer and blush seamlessly on the cheeks is a must, especially when traveling to Miami with remnants of my pale winter complexion. Here's how you do it.

1. Gently dip the tip of a cotton swab in your powder-based bronzer and drag it along the top of your upper cheekbone toward the ridge of your nose.
2. Do the same thing on the opposite cheek with the other end of the cotton swab and then down the ridge of your nose.
3. Next, take a clean cotton swab, dip it into a soft-pink blush and use it to gently blend everything upwards. Do this on the opposite side of your face and along the ride of your nose.

That's it. This is a great way to get a quick and seamless glow on the go. For a dewy touch, I finish it off by dipping a cotton swab into my favorite moisturizer and blending it softly on my cheekbones to catch the light. The process is quick, easy and has me looking Miami sun-kissed in seconds.
