To attend the Warner Bros Picture Event at CinemaCon, Melissa opted for a geometric print long-sleeve dress and some killer blue strappy heels. Looking hot, Melissa.
Melissa is starting her own plus-size fashion line! She shared her inspiration for the collection with Redbook: "When I go shopping, most of the time I'm disappointed. Two Oscars ago, I couldn't find anybody to do a dress for me. I asked five or six designers — very high-level ones who make lots of dresses for people — and they all said no."
Whether she's rocking a bold floral print or looking classic in black, Melissa's personality always shines through. We think she looked stunning in this floral wrap dress paired with edgy booties.
Part of the reason we love Melissa so much? She's got a firm grasp on reality. "I don't know any neighborhoods where everyone's walking around in seven-inch heels and perfect makeup," Melissa told The Hollywood Reporter.
Who can forget Melissa's 2013 MTV Movie Awards appearance? The funny lady looked sleek and comfy in a black jumpsuit, matching booties and some major neck candy.
Melissa knows how to spice up a classic LBD: Add some white colorblocking. She paired her cute dress with the most shiny hair and adorable black ankle strap sandals we've seen in quite some time.
Melissa has some words of wisdom about body image and worrying about weight. She told Good Housekeeping: "You just have to say, it's pretty damn good. I am right here at the moment, and I'm OK with it. I've got other things to think about."
In a sparkly blue sweetheart neckline gown and glam waves, Melissa made quite the impact on the red carpet of the 17th Annual Critic's Choice Movie Awards.
Did you know Melissa studied fashion and textiles in college? She dished on her upcoming clothing collection with Good Housekeeping, discussing the importance of quality fabric when it comes to designing plus-size clothes: "The fabric has to be better, the cuts have to be better, and I want [the collection to be made] in the United States. I have no problem saying that an item might cost $11 more than the shirt down the street; it will last longer, and it will fit and look better."
Melissa isn't afraid to take fashion risks or show off her personality on the red carpet. One of her most memorable moments? This sparkly top and leather pants combo.
