Lady Gaga

For their birthdays, some girls wear a party dress and a tiara. For Lady Gaga's 28th birthday, the "Applause" singer wore a nude bodysuit that totally resembled her birthday suit. But Gaga didn't want to show all of her goodies for once... she added some strategically placed red flowers to cover her lady parts.

But since she had those flowers to hide her nipples and nether regions, why did she wear totally visible underwear underneath? We know Gaga has no problem going commando and showing skin so it seems like an odd choice to have VPL (visible panty lines) in this getup. All that aside, what's with the scarlet face mask? Was she inspired to dress up as a matchstick? If she was trying to go incognito, the whole "look at me" outfit is giving you away.

The final verdict? Can the birthday girl please stop with the ridiculously high platform shoes, too? She tripped and fell in them this week, and if Gaga can't stay vertical in her shoes, she really shouldn't wear them. Eating pavement isn't in fashion, unless you're Jennifer Lawrence, of course.

Jennifer Connelly at premiere for Black Swan

Jennifer Connelly

Jennifer Connelly attempted to channel her inner Black Swan for the London premiere of her new movie Noah, but ended up looking like an angry bird instead. The actress chose a sleeveless, feathered Alexander McQueen gown that can't decide if it wants to be more gothic or girly.

The huge floral embellishments seem feminine but they're also interspersed with black roses that remind us of something evil queen Maleficent might get on Valentine's Day. The entire top of this dress looks like something is growing on poor Jen and she's about to get sucked into the forest of thorns in the Disney movie. The extensive plumage on the A-line bottom of the gown needs to be plucked, too.

The final verdict? This look is too over the top for us. We'd suggest a more simple top with the ornately feathered bottom or a form-fitting material on the lower half if you kept the evil flower patch turtleneck top. We do like how Jen was smart enough to keep her hair sleek and her makeup simple in this statement dress.
